Classic Tacos

Darn good tacos that are easy to make on weeknights, for game day or as a filling lunch for the whole family. Cook some good ground beef in a skillet with our Ancho & Jalapeño Taco Seasoning, fill your tortillas and top ‘em just how you like ‘em.

8-10 tacos

Stuff you'll need

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or protein of choice
  • 1 (1 ounce) package Ancho & Jalapeño Taco Seasoning
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 8-10 taco shells or soft tortillas
  • Toppings of choice such as shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes and onion, grated cheese, sour cream and salsa

What to do

  1. Cook and stir beef in a large skillet on medium-high until cooked through. Drain.
  2. Stir in Taco Seasoning and water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 6-10 minutes.
  4. Stir until thickened.
  5. Spoon beef into warmed taco shells or tortillas, add toppings of choice and serve.
